A Daily Practice of Self-Care: An Ethical Imperative for Educators During Trying Times

Back to School

As returning to school requirements, including physical distancing, online education, and hybrid models, are modified - educators will need to know how to make social and emotional adjustments for students and staff experiencing difficulties as they return to their “classrooms”. The Back to School Video Series provides educators with resources and recommendations on making the school year safer, more predictive, and more positive.

A Daily Practice of Self-Care: An Ethical Imperative for Educators During Trying Times

This is not your typical self care presentation because these are not typical times.  Spend some time with school social worker and trauma specialist, Dawn Baumgartner, learning how to be easy on yourself when everything around you is changing so quickly.  Walk away with a better understanding of your stress response system, ways to stay regulated throughout the day and how to support yourself during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
