Behavior Principles and Classroom Management
Behavior Principles and Classroom Management
This is a two-part course, starting with learning the science behind all human behavior and the principles that positive behavior support is based upon. Participants will learn to identify form and function of behavior and differentiate reinforcement and reward. Without a strong classroom management system your class may seem to have more students requiring Tier 2 interventions than is actually the case. To change that perception and establish a strong classroom management system, in the second part of the course, we will review Classroom Practices such as Behavior Expectations, Reinforcement Systems, and Accountability Systems, plus provide evidence-based interventions and strategies that have been proven to positively impact student behavior.
