KOI Education offers three PBIS Certified Trainer courses on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS): Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3
Online: Expect a flipped classroom model with pre-course research articles and videos, followed by daily expert led discussions and reflections, asynchronous online instruction, and then each participant will apply what they learned and record themselves delivering specific curriculum and activities with feedback from peers and expert trainers. This multi-day course is designed for individuals experienced in implementing PBIS in a school and district and who is ready to lead training in their organization.
Onsite: Expect to complete pre-course research articles and videos before attending, daily expert led discussions and reflections, live instruction, and then each participant will apply what they learned and deliver specific curriculum and activities to the class with feedback from peers and expert trainers. For each Tier: Requires 6-8 hrs of pre-course reading and full day (7 hrs) professional development activities daily.
