KOI Education is proud to announce that we are now officially a district approved professional development service provider for Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) in New Mexico.
Because of KOI Education’s long history and experience of delivering services and products to urban, suburban, rural, and Native American schools and districts throughout the continental U.S., we know we are good fit to partner with schools in Albuquerque. In addition to working with APS, KOI is currently working with Carlsbad Unified School District and Roswell Independent School District, both located in New Mexico.

Best practices and research were documented for Albuquerque Public Schools in the RFP we were recently awarded.
Each KOI Education service and product is designed to aid in building Albuquerque Public Schools district and school capacity to support appropriate adult needs and student behavior and to sustain and scale up. It is our express goal to provide the tools, knowledge, and expertise that will enable our partners and their stakeholders to be successful in the long term. Thus, our primary goal is to build sustainability that will enable schools to remain effective beyond the duration of contracts with KOI.
KOI provides dozens of single-topic workshops and books on a wide variety of topics. We also specialize in a Multi-Layered System of Supports (MLSS) which is a procedural directive in APS. MLSS is also known as MTSS or PBIS across the nation “is a coordinated, comprehensive framework for providing all students with increasingly intensive evidence-based interventions to support their academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs” (APS). This has far ranging effects on all aspects of student performance, behavior, and SEL status. Browse our catalog of MLSS training.
Of special note is KOI’s On-Demand behavior course for parents and caretakers that works on all devices, including most phones. Our PBIS course for the home is available in both English and direct Spanish, including all materials. In addition, we have included Spanish subtitles in our most popular on-demand classes. Users have access to the courses for a full 120 days of learning and review. Upon completion of a course, the participant will automatically receive a Certificate of Completion, including the number of course hours.
